You'll have to put everything back manually I think.

Yep! I'll have to restore and manually input all in app data.

Weird when I tried restoring the phone thru iTunes, it's asking me to update to iOS 5.0.1. I did that via OTA the day it was released.

Yeah because I feel that beta 2 was different to the public release of ops 5.0.1

You plug your phone into iTunes then go on your device name. , sync your apps , info, music etc. by ticking th box

Thanks man, I got it taken care of a few hours ago. It been a while since I had to wipe and restore everything. Hopefully the last!

So far resetting my phone has been a complete waste of time. The battery life has not changed. I do appreciate the help though guys, the advice was the correct protocol to follow in this situation. Unfortunately we will have to waste for apple to fix this problem.

Sorry bud. Clearly it must be a software problem although apple releases 5.0.1.

No problem friend, you gave the right advice. Apple is even aware that this patch did not accomplish the job. Well it did for some, made things worse for others.

It's flexible. One day battery is ok others is bad. I never had this issues with my iPhone 4. Just got to wait for another update.

I agree. I think it's odd to watch your battery drop 4% in 10-15 minutes with just browsing through apps and course them connecting to the Internet. I know the battery quality of this phone can be better.

Yeah true.

This statement, if true, would prove it CAN'T be a software issue - wouldn't it? Or would it differ from user to user based on the KIND of usage each person does? This whole thing gets weirder and weirder. Some people's battery usage got 'worse'? And some better? And then there's me who's had Apple's promised battery time from out of the box on 5.0 and same on 5.0.1... So there's a 3rd group of us out here. :-/

It's been 24 hours since last charge - stand by for about 9-10 of those hours and light to moderate text, web , apps and Siri use - no calls, no games - and my battery sits at 48%. ¿?

The only thing I think I've done differently than a lot I read here is no gaming and the fact that I properly conditioned my battery thru 3 cycles.

That could be a reason why your battery last longer than mine. I have over 30games on my iPhone. I play then time to time and always make sure I quit the app after use. I never have any running app in the back ground. But still I don't get it. Maybe if you used your phone moderately or heavily you'll be getting my figures.

What do you mean condition your battery thru 3 cycles?
