Added iOS 6.1.1 on the list as it is still jailbreakable using Evasi0n once it's updated. As of 02/11/13 17:00 EST, it's only available on the 4S as of now and is a fix to the Japanese maps and a hotfix for data bug for Europeans.

The primary focus is the carrier bug. There's an innate (pretty much useless) update to the Japanese maps as said in the beta release which I have

There's still an update to the maps.app. If you rip open the packages, there's a 22MB update to maps.

ok, maybe you are right! I don't know, since apple doesn't mention it somewhere, and the update for the Japanese maps is not only for the iPhone 4S, but for all iOS devices.

It's already implemented in 6.1.1 for the 4S. It's no big change, but nonetheless, if we have Japanese users or users that plan on traveling to Japan, it might be of help

Hey, one quick question. If we're on 6.1 without any problems, is it actually necessary to upgrade to 6.1.2 and then reinstall everything, or no need? Or just stay on 6.1?

Nope... if you're good to go on 6.1 then don't even worry about 6.1.2.
